Treatment of Skin Diseases
The spa has a long tradition of treatment of skin diseases with both the children and the adults. Among the most frequent diseases treated, there are psoriasis vulgaris, atopic eczema, scleroderma, professional dermatosis, as well as other chronic non-infectious diseases of the skin (such as lichen ruber, ichthyosis, dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring...).The treatment is based on a combination of ingredient baths, including a dry wrap and phototherapy, applications of dermatological ointments prepared on the basis of the spa´s original prescriptions; with patients suffering from disablement of the arthral system, professional physiotherapeutic care conducted by experienced physiotherapists using the most modern appliances forms an inseparable part of the therapy. Each patient is naturally first examined by a professional dermatologist, or eventually the FBLR doctor (i.e. specialized in physiatry, balneology, and physiotherapy), and the treatment programme is adjusted to fit the patient´s individual needs and problems.
Further on, the spa offers a digital dermatoscope to expertly examine pigmentary naevi, galvanocautery and cryospray, to remove small skin formations (warts, small fibromas, ...), elephantiasis is also treated.
The treatment is provided as a complex, allowance, or self-payer spa care. A dermatology ambulance is also open within the spa complex.
